The growing climate change has seen a large number of wildfires erupt across different countries in the world.
But this recent natural disaster has left people shocked as more than 15,800 hectares of land were on fire.
The massive blaze that broke out in the municipality of Ores has forced the evacuation of nearly 1100 people across several municipalities in Zaragoza and the neighboring Navarre region.
The Cinco Villas area, Zaragoza province, and Aragon region and northern Spain were identified as the main points drastically affected by the huge blaze. More details were shared about the perimeter expanding roughly 80 kilometers, or 50 miles.
Authorities went on to declare a level 2 emergency, signaling how this blaze poses a serious threat to populated areas and critical infrastructure. More than 1100 residents were forced from their homes and relocated to temporary shelters like municipal sports centers.
A combined force of close to 450 ground personnel, alongside dozens of fire engines, was also seen, including bulldozers, helicopters, and the country's Military Emergency Unit.
