Dog Accidentally Turns on Toaster, Sparking House Fire That Leaves three Dead

A heartbreaking incident was seen taking place in Maryland recently.

Sources shared how the story is a clear highlight of a hazard for pet owners. A family dog named Bo started the fire while the homeowners were away, giving rise to a house fire that left three more house pets dead.

Ring camera security footage from inside the kitchen showed Bo jumping onto the counter and inadvertently activating a toaster, which swiftly ignited a nearby combustible material.

The fast-moving fire needed nearly 30 firefighters to bring it under control. While alert neighbors successfully rescued Bo and another dog named Addie, the family ended up losing three more pets, including one dog and two cats. The massive blaze also caused nearly $150k in structural damage and another $50k in damage to the home's contents.
