Andrew Escobar, who vanished from Rio Rancho, New Mexico, at the age of 11, has now been reunited with his dad after nearly three years.
The 14-year-old boy was found while he was crossing the US-Mexico border.

Authorities alleged that Andrew's mother took him amid a very bitter custody dispute. For the past three years, Felix has taken Andrew to several different nations, including Austria, Turkey, Albania, and the Netherlands. Felix did not realize that he unknowingly triggered a missing person alert while he happened to be trying to cross back into America from Mexico.

She ended up getting detained at the El Paso jail and now faces extradition to New Mexico. Juan Escobar, who had quit his job alongside Andrew's stepmother to search full time, expressed serious shock and relief upon getting this news.
