A 40-year-old mom and her two young kids were found dead inside their room in Houston.
Tragic reports were shared about how the kids lost their lives at the hands of their own mother, who didn't even spare herself after the awful crime. The exact location was identified as the Residence Inn by Marriott on Kirby Drive in Houston. And among the victims were a six-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy.
Hotel staff discovered the remains just before 11:45 am while carrying out a welfare check. The family says they had checked in on Wednesday but had not heard from or seen them for two days. The Houston Police Department mentioned how the mother passed away from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, while both kids passed away from fatal gunshot wounds. Investigators added that the incident took place on Friday.
Authorities are now investigating how this tragedy was most likely an apparant murder suicide nothing how mental health issues seemed to be involved. So far, neither the mother or the kids' identities have been revealed.
