Skydiver Carrying American Flag Gets Caught in Tree and Crashes into Rodeo Crowd

During the Folsom Pro Rodeo that was held in California recently, the crowd might have gotten more thrills than they had bargained for.

This includes an opening ceremony stunt that went terribly wrong.

A skydiver, later identified by event staff as a man named Ross, was said to be descending into the arena while carrying a huge 30-foot American flag trailing beneath him. As he approached the landing zone, the giant flag caught on a tree while he happened to be several dozen feet in the air.

The sudden snag pushed him downwards, and that forced him to lose complete control and crash directly into a tent surrounded by spectators. The harrowing incident was captured on video by onlookers and swiftly shared on social media.

Thankfully, despite how alarming this crash was, Ross ended up escaping any serious injury. The next day, organizers were seen sharing updates and confirming that he was safe and well, even walking into the arena.
