An American pilot named Nicholas Gosselin was fatally shot after he reportedly landed his civilian plane in a remote location.
The incident sparked major concern as his plane was also set on fire after the brutal act. Now, his family is demanding a transparent investigation as they seek justice for their loving son.
Sources shared how the incident took place on July 2 when he reportedly landed the aircraft in a remote Highland Papua region of Indonesia. Right after the shooting arose, the rebel group responsible set the plane on fire at the airstrip in the Balinggama Village.

The plane was said to be under the ownership of PT AMA, which is a firm responsible for delivering goods and mail to different remote locations. Fortunately, all seven local passengers on board managed to escape this attack unharmed.

As investigations continue, the Indonesian liberation army shared footage where they accepted full responsiblity for this attack, claiming that it was revenge for the poor relations between both nations to solve conflicts.
