A child from West Virginia was recently hospitalized after a famous squishy toy ended up exploding inside a hot car.
The incident left her with the most serious of burn injuries on her thigh. Now, her parents are urging others to please learn from this incident and avoid going through the pain that they've had to endure recently.
Natalee was rushed to the hospital by her parents when their vehicle literally behaved as a solar oven. This caused the gelatinous and silicone-filled toy to expand and weaken. When the child sat in the back seat, that's when the bubble ended up bursting, and that coated her legs in a manner where the scalding and sticky material caused serious injury.
Her parents described it as a substance that resembled hot taffy. Emergency medics treated the teen's serious burns with the help of saline and cooling agents at the medical center.
Her very distraught mom shared more details about the horrifying ordeal with the public and wants such dangerous gelatinous toys banned, especially during the summer heat.
