A daredevil couple was seen climbing the iconic Empire State Building for an appalling romantic stunt.
33-year-old Angela Nikolau and her partner, 32-year-old Ivan Kuznetsov, both managed to scale the massive 1454 foot antenna of the famous Empire State Building. The pair were famous for their feature in the iconic Netflix Documentary Skywalkers: A Love Story.
The pair from New Jersey says they managed to bypass all security measures and reach the 102nd floor to reach the restricted maintenance deck. At this summit, they unfurled a banner that featured a very cringe-worthy type of love quote that stated the following.
"When the power of love beats the love of power, the world knows peace!" Right after this demonstration, Kuznetsov proposed to Nikolau, who accepted it. This matter swiftly drew a lot of attention online, with many calling the matter alarming and shocking, not to mention a major security lapse. The couple was soon arrested by authorities, who were waiting for them at the bottom of the tower, and are now expected to face charges linked to trespassing.
