Doctors are raising the alarm after a long list of pictures were seen going viral on social media linked to this year's FIFA World Cup.
The astonishing number of parents putting up clicks of their babies wearing ear muffs at the high-energy-packed matches being held was a shocker for obvious reasons. And as per health experts, there's more than meets the eye.

While parents might think putting on a pair of earmuffs is enough to keep their kids' ears protected from damage, well, they might need to think again. Even though so many of the babies are seen wearing the protective gear, experts state that sporting arenas of this magnitude expose the kids to high levels of danger and deafening noise levels from roaring fans and giant speakers.

As per audiologists for kids, infants are uniquely vulnerable to hearing damage. And that's due to the fact that their ear canal is much smaller than that seen in adults. As a result, sound pressure builds up in a more intense manner so it's much louder for them.
