Thunderstorms force Thousands of Flight Cancellations As Hundreds of Passengers REmain Stranded on Tarmac for Eight Hours

Poor weather conditions have left passengers from a British Airways flight stranded on the tarmac for nearly eight hours.

The BA803 flight from London to Dalaman, Turkey, had people so overwhelmed as this was not a delay that anyone had in mind. But 8.5 hours was the total time of the delay before the flight was ultimately canceled.

The serious delay was due to poor weather conditions across the United Kingdom, which left air traffic disrupted and forced the planes to be spaced further apart. The news comes after the city witnessed a record-breaking heatwave that drove citizens insane. London was declared to be the city that was hit the hardest. It resulted in more than 1000 flight cancellations and many more delays over the weekend.
