A newlywed groom has passed away tragically in front of his own heartbroken wife while the couple was celebrating their honeymoon.
27-year-old Suleyman Sariefe smashed his head after he fell and suffered some serious injuries to his spine. This left him fighting for his life in the hospital for nearly 11 days in Turkey.
The incident arose on the couple's third day of their honeymoon. He then jumped from a high point into the sea in front of his partner on their first trip away as a couple. His wife watched in horror and terror as he hit the sea and had to be pulled from the water with serious injuries. Emergency services rushed to be by his side and therefore managed to rush him urgently, but his condition was worsening, and soon he died from the fatal injuries.
His family is now mourning the tragedy, which was so sudden that two weeks back, they all gathered to wish the couple well for the wedding, and now had to unite in sadness for his funeral.
