Deadly Blaze Kills At Least Six People in New York as Fire Rips Through Motel

Tragic reports are speaking about a horrifying blaze in New York that ripped through a motel.

The incident also left 73 people displaced after the fast-moving fire tore through the Knight's Inn Motel ins Endwell in New York. Authorities described the blaze as a three-alarm fire that broke out at about 6 am on Monday.

Firefighters arrived to find heavy black smoke at the front and flames tearing out from the back of the two-story building. As many as 10 fire departments and four ambulance firms rushed to help control the blaze and assist with the emergency.

Along with the six confirmed deaths, at least two individuals were hospitalized. Therefore, the American Red Cross was also expected to be helping the 73 individuals who were left homeless after the blaze.

This motel was said to be used by the local department of social services to give emergency temporary housing for families. Right after the investigation, authorities did manage to arrest one suspect who was booked on the felony of arson and manslaughter. However, no specific motive was outlined for setting this blaze.
