The devastated parents of a young boy are now rolling out a lawsuit after he was killed when a park monument fell on top of him, leaving him dead after suffering crushing injuries.
3-year-old Kaleb Ortega was with his father and sister at Rooks Park in Walla Walla when the huge monument fell on the child and caused him fatal injuries. His mother was believed to be working as a nurse when her son soon arrived at the same hospital in an ambulance. This caused her serious emotional trauma, and so far, the family has managed to raise nearly $59k for a GoFundMe due to outpouring support from the community.
Sources shared more about how everything was so happy and normal when all of a sudden, things took a turn for the worse. The family says this was not a heartbreak they were anticipating, as they were overwhelmed with so much grief.
Now, all they are left with is beautiful memories that feel like precious gifts.
