‘VERY OUT OF CHARACTER’- MISSING SOUTH CAROLINA PERSONAL TRAINER’S CAUSE OF DEATH BAFFLES INVESTIGATORS

The preliminary results of the autopsy of the missing personal trainer from South Carolina have baffled investigators.

Elena Katherine Moore's immediate cause of death is yet to be revealed as investigators continue to wrap their heads around what exactly might have happened to her. The 39-year-old fitness instructor disappeared on June 11 after leaving the gym in Lexington. Her remains were found six days later inside a wooded area alongside the Old Cherokee Road.

The forensic exam was very complex due to some bizarre and unlikely circumstances linked to her sudden disappearance and death. The cops did confirm how the autopsy did not reveal any kind of signs of trauma. Also, the location was something unusual as it was very out of character for her to be in that area, relatives and friends shared.

The body also had no bruising, lacerations, gunshot indications, stab wounds, strangulation, or even any kind of blunt force trauma. Hence, authorities are waiting for the results of pending tests and toxicology for a more thorough review of what might have gone on that day.
