Tragic reports are speaking about how five people were reportedly left injured after a giant metal cabana ended up falling on top of them.
The structure blew off a rooftop due to very strong winds, authorities revealed, and therefore ended up crashing into a giant pool area at the popular Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino that is present in Hollywood, Florida.
Authorities spoke about how serious thunderstorms were predicted and seen moving through the state's southern areas, as powerful gusts of wind ripped off the structure and resulted in the damage. Five adults were among those who suffered from non-serious injuries. Witnesses shared how many people rushed to try to help those stuck under heavy debris, as well as free anyone who might be trapped below.
Emergency crews were able to transport all of the victims to a hospital nearby, and doctors revealed that all of them were expected to make a full recovery after being treated and discharged.
