The remains of a missing personal trainer have now been found in the woods.
39-year-old personal trainer Elena Katherine Moore was found inside a wooded region in Lexington, South Carolina, days after she explicitly told her best pal that she was so scared for her life.
Moore vanished on the evening of June 11, 2026, after leaving a Planet Fitness gym on Whiteford Way. Surveillance footage last tracked her walking through a nearby Publix grocery store parking lot.
Following a community trip, the police department shared more about how a body matching her description and a distinct green athletic outfit was found in a wooded area near Old Cherokee Road and Northlake Drive.
Her close pal, Sondra Campbell, shared with Fox News Digital that during their last in-person meeting, Moore did mention how she was very fearful of her life. But they continued to insist that they needed to talk about it one-on-one because of the large number of people around them at that moment in time. She even missed a call from her on June 4, and now this has left her devastated.
An investigation is currently taking place to determine the cause of death as loved ones mourn her sudden and shocking loss of life.
