A 3-year-old boy is now in critical but stable condition at Addenbrooke's Hospital after a horrifying incident unfolded on June 18.
Sources from local media outlets shared more about how he ended up inside the crocodile enclosure at the Johnsons of Old Hurst Zoo in Cambridgeshire, England. Police ended up arresting a 30-year-old man from Norfolk on suspicion of attempted murder, and detectives explicitly stated how the suspect and the toddler are total strangers.
Horrified witnesses shared how they burst into tears and started to yell and scream when the man picked up the child and threw him inside. Many heard loud screams as panic filled the air inside the zoo's tropical house.

Tracey Johnson leaped straight inside the crocodile pit alongside other zoo staff to drag the heavily bleeding toddler to safety. The cops confirmed that the young boy was attacked by at least one crocodile and suffered serious wounds, including serious injuries to the arm.
