An investigation is currently being carried out after a mortifying incident arose yesterday at a popular family-run zoo in Cambridgeshire, England.
A three-year-old boy was said to have critical injuries but is now in a stable state after being picked up by a stranger and thrown inside the zoo's crocodile enclosure. The wife of the zoo owner happened to be right there and witnessed the brutal incident. She didn't even waste a second thinking twice and bravely jumped right in to save the child.
While the toddler suffered from serious injuries, including a broken arm and fractured pelvis, authorities confirmed they were sustained from the 20-foot fall and not from the crocodiles present inside.
Cambridgeshire Police swiftly arrested a 30-year-old man from Norfolk on suspicion of attempted murder. Investigators spoke about how they don't believe the suspect and the victim are related, hinting at a random attack. The Zoo's Tropical house is currently closed in respect for the family, as investigations continue to figure out the motive behind the horrifying ordeal.
