An Australian influencer shocking bled out after twice refusing medical assistance during her unassisted home birth, a coroner's inquest revealed on Tuesday.
Stacey Hatfield passed away shortly after delivering her son. She was home without a midwife or nurse when she began experiencing postpartum hemorrhage.
The famous online content creator was adamant about giving birth without having any kind of medical assistance. Her husband, therefore, listened and supported her. Once she started to suffer some complications, he finally relented and rushed her to the hospital, but two dozen doctors were not able to save her following the problematic pregnancy.
Her son, the couple's first child, survived the deadly ordeal. When her husband shared her death news on social media with a tragic post, he cited 'unforeseen and incredibly rare complication' as the reason for her death.
