A woman who was fatally hit by a car on an interstate earlier this week was said to be trying to rescue her pet when she was hit.
Morabia Siddhi Suresh passed away after the collision on the I-75 in Rockcastle County on Monday, as shared by the Kentucky Police.

The investigation shared more about how the victim had been involved in a previous crash. The time and location were yet to be clear. Her pet managed to escape from her car at the time, and in an attempt to rescue it, she ventured into the travel portion of the roadway. She then ended up on the path of a Chevrolet Malibu.

Suresh was shifted to a nearby hospital and soon succumbed to her injuries. In a statement that was shared recently by officials, there was no indication of any drugs or alcohol being involved in this crash.
