21 year old Hell on Wheels killer Mackenzie Shirilla has just managed to land a new job in an Ohio prison where she's currently serving her life sentence.
Despite being convicted of murder and dubbed with the most notorious of names, she's got a new institutional job as a food service worker at the Ohio reformatory for Women.
The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction confirmed the assignment, which usually involves preparing and serving meals to fellow inmates. The assignment follows reports that Shirilla recently complained to her mom in a leaked phone call about being bored behind bars.
She's employed as a food service worker, which requires passing a medical screening to ensure she carries no contagious illnesses. State prison wages usually range from a minimum of $3 to $22 every month. Shirilla is currently serving two concurrent sentences of 15 years to life after being convicted of four counts of murder. She would be eligible for parole in October of 2037.
