The internet was recently left in a state of disbelief after a man shared the before-and-after images of himself after injecting unregulated tanning peptide melatonin into himself.
A viral tweet on X spoke about how the man was very desperate to see what he would look like with a tanned experience, so he decided to take matters into his own hands. This includes jabbing himself with an unregulated medication. 'Why did he do this?'- netizens posted after seeing the drastic transformation.
The pictures sparked widespread fascination and concern at the same time. The viral tweet shared on X includes before and after pictures of the man's actual tone vs his skin looking very much darker, like an unnatural-looking tan.
The substance responsible was the controversial injectable called Melanotan-II. As per a post shared on Reddit, the same man allegedly injected Melanotan inside his body for nearly five months.
