Tragic reports are speaking about the death of a 22-year-old climber who tumbled 425 feet down a mountain after slipping on loose rock.
The incident took place on the rugged terrain of the Austria-Germany border. Despite emergency services, including two helicopters, being deployed for a search and rescue mission, it was just too late. The man had died due to a fatal fall. He was said to hail from Munich and was climbing with a friend of the same age. His friend shared how he chose to continue across the easier terrain without any safety rope, leading to the disaster.
