Heartbreaking new details have emerged involving a family who plunged from a luxury high-rise apartment block in a suspected murder-suicide that arose at the UNCLE building in Elephant and Castle, South London which authorities are now calling a murder suicide.
Three individuals who passed away after falling 400 feet from the 36th floor have been identified. They include Rakesh Pai, a 47-year-old father, Aditi Paralker, a 47-year-old mother, and their 9-year-old son named Sid, who was terminally ill. Sid was born with serious chronic health conditions. He was partially handicapped, not able to speak, had learning difficulties, and suffered from serious kidney disease.
The tragedy arose shortly after Sid had been discharged from a hospital and allegedly denied specialized treatment, leaving the parents completely devastated. Friends revealed how the mother was suffering from serious depression and mental health issues stemming from the overwhelming, long-term responsibility of homeschooling and caring for her disabled son.
An investigation is being carried out to determine the formative cause of death from the coroner's office.
