A young schoolboy has reportedly passed away, and dozens more were left injured after a devastating bus crash unfolded today.
The tragedy arose during the afternoon hours when two buses collided head-on near Hebertshausen in Upper Bavaria, Germany. As per the cops, all 35 people involved in the smash were injured, and most of them were said to be children.

One boy passed away at the scene despite desperate attempts to save him. Two more kids and a teacher were still fighting for their lives in critical condition.

The horror incident unfolded at about 12:30 pm on State Road 2339 between Ampermoching and Ottershausen. Sources claim that the public bus collided with the school bus carrying schoolchildren and teachers from two second-grade classes at Haimhausen Elementary School. The impact arose on the bend in the road where speed limits are usually set at 60 km/h in one direction and 50km/h in the other.
The road was immediately shut down after the crash as investigations continue.
