Tragic reports are speaking about the death of two young sisters who drowned after sneaking out of their home and entering a neighbor's backyard swimming pool on Gearhart Drive in Pensacola, Florida.
The tragedy arose in the evening of June 9, after the girls went missing. They managed to somehow slip out of their family home unnoticed, prompting an urgent call to the Pensacola Police Department at about 6:30 pm to report them missing.
Local law enforcement and family members were seen taking part in a nearby hunt in the neighborhood to locate them. That's when they discovered the unresponsive sisters inside a swimming pool at the property next door.
Investigators believe the older eight-year-old sister scaled the perimeter fence to get inside before opening a gate to let her five-year-old sister through.
