Tragic reports are speaking about a disabled child being left with no choice but to call the police and 911 for emergency assistance after her own mother abandoned her alone in Fort Bend County, Texas.
Philippi Angela Walker was charged with felony child abandonment after her daughter was found home alone with the cops. The young child was identified as HH in the documents and had called in to request food as she was starving.
Investigators shared how the child who was suffering from a mental deficiency was surviving solely on a birthday cake while left alone. Court records proved that the mother left the country to travel to Honduras, leaving the child alone for nearly two days.
The child was said to have made use of a device having limited connectivity, making it so hard for emergency dispatchers to track her exact location. Detectives noted that if she had not managed to make this phone call, she might have remained undiscovered for several more days.
