Tragic reports are speaking about a violent stabbing incident that took place inside New York City's Penn Station on Sunday evening, leaving five to six people injured.
Law Enforcement officials apprehended a suspect immediately after this incident occurred. Preliminary reports shared more about the attack and how it was a random act of violence done by a very emotionally disturbed and homeless individual.

The attack arose near the Amtrak and NJ Transit concourses inside the transit hub. Emergency responders and paramedics were called to the scene at about 7 pm EST.
Emergency officials initially treated five victims, but updated reports from the press spoke about a total of six injuries that took place. One victim sustained serious injuries, two had moderate injuries, and the rest were said to have suffered from minor injuries. None of the injuries was deemed life-threatening.

All the injured were rushed to Bellevue Hospital to get medical care.
