Tragic reports are speaking about the death of a loving grandmother who was traveling to attend her daughter's birthday.
According to reports from local media outlets, Maria da Gloria Pereira Silva Favaro passed away after she fell down the stairs while she was disembarking from a flight at Congonhas airport in Brazil.
The tragic incident occurred on Friday, and she ended up succumbing to her injuries two days later on Sunday. Sources claim she fell on the runway of the airport after she lost her balance on the final steps of the aircraft stairs and suffered a serious neck injury.
Despite first aid being provided to her by airport teams, she was rushed to an emergency care unit and soon was transferred to a private hospital, where she died.
