Andrew Hutto, the star witness at just the age of seven, against his own mother, Amanda Lewis, in 2008, has chosen to speak out in his mid-20s.
Now, he's a grown adult and works as a firefighter. Andrew was seen reaffirming how he stands by each and every word that he made in his original testimony as a child, and denies getting any kind of coaching or being manipulated by anyone.
During the initial 2008 trial in Esto, Florida, 7-year-old Andrew testified that he saw his mother drown his 7-year-old half-sister in the backyard pool as a punishment. His very calm account and hand-drawn picture of the terrifying tragedy soon became the leading linchpin of this case, causing the mother to be convicted of the crime for first-degree murder.
As an adult, he spoke about the conflicting emotions that he faced at the time. While it was heartbreaking to see his mother on trial, he expressed a major sense of relief that this ordeal was brought to a swift end.
