Spurs Fan, 17, Suffers Catastrophic Head Injury After Falling from Moving Vehicle While Celebrating NBA Playoff Win

Tragic reports are speaking about a teenage San Antonio Spurs fan who was declared brain dead and placed on life support after falling from a moving vehicle while celebrating the NBA playoff victory.

The tragic accident took place late on Thursday on San Antonio's South Side following the Spurs' 118-91 Game 6 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Finals.

The teen was said to be taking part in the San Antonio traditional Honk-around street celebrations in the 300 block of West Dickson Avenue, near Southwest Military Drive. As per family members, he fell out of the vehicle and struck his head against a curb.

As a result, he suffered from serious trauma and is said to be brain dead, despite being driven to a nearby emergency room before getting rushed to a major trauma center due to severe brain swelling and catastrophic head trauma.
