A speeding minibus rammed into a giant bus parked along the motorway in northwest Pakistan, leaving 17 people dead and injuring up to 10 others as per police and rescue officials.
The crash took place near Mardan in the KPK province when the minibus slammed into a parked vehicle, as per local media outlets. He shared more about the preliminary findings, which suggested pure driver negligence caused the accident.
This bus was carrying passengers to the scenic Swat Valley. Rescue workers and police shifted the dead and injured to a local hospital nearby. Road accidents are a common sight in Pakistan due to poor infrastructure, reckless driving, and weak enforcement of traffic safety regulations.
