A tourist boat carrying nearly 12 people, including children, has reportedly capsized inside a popular cave in the Algarve, leaving two people injured.
The terrifying incident took place in the Benagil Sea Cave off Lagoa, Portugal, on Saturday.
The boat was said to be carrying at least 12 people when all of a sudden, it flipped.
They were trapped in the cave after the boat capsized, and as a result, they had to be rescued by lifeboats and kayaks.
Five children, between the ages of two and six, were among the passengers who were unharmed as per local media outlets.
Sources shared how a pregnant woman was also on board at that moment in time. Thankfully, the rescue efforts were very quick, and they allowed everyone to be rescued so fast without any injury.
