At Least 24 Killed & More Than 50 Injured After Terrifying Bomb Attack on Train

At least 24 people were killed, and more than 50 others were injured on Sunday after a blast targeted a train carrying military personnel in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province, as per local media outlets.

The attack took place in the provincial capital Quetta, where army personnel were among those killed and injured in the mega explosion.

The blast damaged the whole train and also impacted several vehicles nearby. Windows of surrounding buildings were shattered due to the huge impact.

Railway authorities shared how the Jaffar Express, which was heading towards Peshawar, was stopped at Quetta Railway Station as a precaution after this incident.

Officials in Balochistan have placed all departments on high alert and urged people to stay away from this location to enable rescue and investigation work to proceed. So far, no group has claimed responsibility, and investigations are ongoing.
