American tourists arrested after breaking into Punch the Monkey’s enclosure at Japan’s Ichikawa City Zoo

Shocking reports are speaking about how two American tourists were recently arrested in Japan after reportedly breaking into the enclosure of the beloved Punch the monkey.

Police shared how the foreign tourists were fascinaed with the 9 month old internet sensation to such a major extent that they thought it was okay to break all the rules and enter inside.

Police in Tokyo's suburb of Chiba detained Reid Jahnai Daysun and Neal Jabahri Duan after one of the men jumped into the fence to enter the enclosure while the other continued to film.

Videos of this incident show a person, believed to be Daysun, in a blue suit with a smiling emoji head, climbing into the enclosure that houses Punch.

This little monkey went viral online after heartbreaking pictures of him cradling a stuffed orangutan toy took center stage. This is right after his mother abandoned him at birth.

The man's strange outfit appeared to be a small reference to the emoji classically used to promote memecoin cryptocurrencies.
