A woman from Alabama who was reportedly missing for nearly a week has now been found dead, and a man has been charged with abuse of her corpse.
The victim was identified as 23-year-old Karen Deann Hollis, who was found by her pals and family on Saturday, nearly eight days after she vanished.
She was last seen around midnight in Northport, which is 60 miles from Birmingham. Cops shared how she suffered from a serious condition that might impair her judgment.
Her disappearance sparked an urgent search, and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency had issued a missing and endangered person alert. Her remains were found in Greene County, and Randall Lendell Dejourney has now been faced with abuse of the corpse. An autopsy will soon take place, and that means he might face more charges, as per the cops.
