Three women who were found dead after being pulled out from the sea off the coast of Brighton were said to be related to each other and were visiting London, as per reports from local media outlets.
The discovery was made near Brighton Marina after emergency services were called at about 5:45 am yesterday over concerns linked to the women's welfare.
A major search and rescue operation was reportedly carried out involving coastguard teams, RNLI lifeboats, and two helicopters. The remains of the three women were later recovered from the water near Madeira Drive.
It's believed that the women were aged between 20 and 30 years old. Cops claim all three women have now been identified and their next of kin have been informed.
Formal investigations into this case are still ongoing, and officers claim there is yet to be any evidence that suggests criminality or that anyone else was involved.
