A loving dad from California was reportedly found dead after his family launched a complaint about him being missing.
According to reports from local media outlets, Thomas Simpkins, who was just 44 years old from Santa Clara in California, disappeared after attending a Super Bowl Sunday Barbeque in the start of February 2026.
He took an Uber home at about 9 pm but was never heard of again and failed to show up for work the next day.
His family reported that he was missing when they failed to reach him.
Six days later, his body was located in San Tomas Aquino Creek near Levi's Stadium, roughly six miles from his residence.
He was identified by a tattoo. Authorities have yet to share an official cause of death, and his cellphone and wallet were said to be missing at the time that he was found. His family now continues to seek answers on what happened to him.
