Shocking reports are speaking about a Somali truck driver with a driving license from Minnesota who was caught driving a giant 80,000lb semi in the wrong direction for several miles on Highway 61 near Troy, Missouri.
Sources from local media outlets shared more about how the driver was caught through a viral dashcam video that exposed the incident to authorities and prompted a statewide patrol traffic stop.
During this roadside inspection, Missouri State Highway Patrol officials found out more about how the driver was not able to read any English and could not even understand the basic signs on the road.
This is said to be a major requirement for holding a commercial license. He also failed the basic English proficiency test, which led authorities to take him out of service and remove him from the road for driving in the wrong direction and operating the vehicle in a careless manner. However, he was not arrested.
