Billy Ray Cyrus’s ex-wife Firerose accused him of abuse — now her own family are coming to his defense

Country music star Billy Ray Cyrus publicly denied any kind of allegations linked to emotional and narcissistic abuse that were made by his former wife, Firerose.

The news comes after the pair's short-lived marriage that lasted for nearly seven months. Firerose shared how the time she spent with her former partner was very difficult, as he did everything to isolate her from friends and monitored her communications, saying she had to ask for permission to send messages or emails.

Cyrus blatantly slammed the accusations as false and countered with claims about how she was verbally, emotionally, and physically abusive towards him.

The matter grew so much more complex because Firerose's own parents stepped into the scene to defend Cyrus, stating more about how they had no contact with their daughter since the year 2020.

They also shared how she was never cut off from the family by Cyrus. For them, it was more like a history of estrangement that predates the marriage. They emphasized how any estrangement was begun by Firehose herself, and not by Cyrus.
