Perez Hilton's family is now breaking their silence with an update about the blogger's condition.
This is right after he chose to indulge in an alarming self-harming incident while livestreaming the whole thing from his home in Miami last week.
In a statement that was shared on his website, Hilton's family started by speaking about how there are many false and inaccurate reports circulating in the press regarding Perez and the circumstances linked to this situation.
"We want to confirm that Perez remains hospitalized under Florida's Baker Act," they shared in regard to the legal move that enables authorities, judges, or medical professionals to hold an individual for a mental health situation for nearly 72 hours.
His communication was said to be very limited and restricted to immediate loved ones, medical providers, and others directly involved in his care. He's also not communicated with the press or issued any kind of public statements, his loved ones shared.
