The 53-year-old shared with media outlet TMZ that the real cause was not really a parasite but was linked to a ruptured breast implant that she had kept in for nearly two decades.
The celeb shed light on how she had no idea of the health hazards of this, leading to a devastating outcome that took a toll on her mind and body.
Glanville mentioned how implants leaked silicone into her lymph nodes, clogging them and leading to a serious infection that impacted her face as well as her skin.
The star saw more than 20 doctors and underwent several tests before a sonogram finally revealed the issue to her late last year. "It was like I aged more than 20 years overnight!"- she cried. After the diagnosis, she had to have the implants removed, and since then, she's been receiving plenty of treatments and laser work.
