Nancy Guthrie Case: GoFundMe Launched to Help Pay $65K Bitcoin Demand

A GoFundMe campaign was recently started by a man in Tucson, Arizona.

This is believed to be aimed at assisting in raising the equivalent of one Bitcoin to pay for sensitive information that could lead to the whereabouts of Nancy Guthrie.

The organizer for this account shared more about how any funds would go directly to the Guthrie family to purchase cryptocurrency, hoping that this could secure tips from someone who is claiming to know her exact location.

In case there is money that's left over, this would be offered to law enforcement to offset investigation costs. As of right now, only a small fraction of the $65,000 target has been raised.

The latest crowdfunding effort comes amid a series of anonymous emails that were obtained by media outlets such as TMZ from a person using the consistent Bitcoin address. He demanded payments in return for some very sensitive data about the kidnapper, adding how he saw Nancy with them near the US-Mexico border.
