Lindsey Vonn is sharing a heartfelt update with her fans about her undergoing her fourth surgery to repair a serious leg injury.
She sustained this during her downhill ski run at the 2026 Winter Olympics. The 41-year-old American skiing legend shared how the procedure went well and that she's now cleared to return to the US to continue with her recovery.
In another post shared through Instagram, Vonn mentioned more about how grateful she was to all of her supporters and urged people not to feel sad or sorry for her.
She acknowledged that the empathy and encouragement she has gotten is just so much love.
She also made it clear that she did not enter the race unaware of the risks that came with it. Instead, she said that she chose to take the risk, underscoring her determination and love for this sport.
