Beloved skating coach of Team USA, Gabrielle Sam Linehan was recently shot and killed while waiting in her car at a Starbucks Drive-Thru in St. Louis, Missouri.
The incident took place earlier this week. As per the cops, the suspect was identified as a 58-year-old man named Keith Lamon Brown, who reportedly approached her vehicle and demanded that she put her hands up and then opened fire.
This struck her before she fled on foot with some of her personal items. Linehan was witnessed being rushed to a nearby hospital, but later passed away from her injuries.
Authorities swiftly tracked her down and then arrested Brown at his home, where they recovered evidence linking him to this case as well as other recent armed robberies in the same area.
Brown now faces several charges, including first-degree murder, several counts of armed robbery, armed criminal action, and unlawful possession of a firearm. He's now being held in custody without any bond.
Investigators were seen describing him as a dangerous man with a long criminal history, and they believe that the incident at Starbucks was part of a short crime spree that entailed at least two more robberies in nearby areas just days before.
