Actors Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have failed to settle the high-profile legal dispute following a court-ordered mediation session in New York.
Both stars attended a long meeting that had been mediated by a federal judge that was aimed at resolving Lively's s*xual harassment and retaliation lawsuit against Baldoni.
After hours of negotiations in the courtroom, neither party came to an agreement on the terms put forward, and therefore, no deal was reached.
This meant the case would almost certainly proceed to a civil trial that was scheduled for the month of May.
Lively accused Baldoni of inappropriate behavior on set and retaliating against her after she raised some serious concerns, seeking major damages.
Baldoni denied all of those allegations and maintained his defense, while his countersuit against Lively and her partner was dismissed by the judge in the past. Now, both stars are expected to testify when the courtroom trial begins, and the legal battle continues to draw attention thanks to its high stakes.
