A 23-year-old woman from the UK named Lucy Harrison was reportedly shot and killed by her own dad, Kris Harrison, at his residence in Prosper, Texas, on January 10.
The incident took place just before she was due to fly back home to the UK.
The shooting arose after a heated argument earlier that same day about Trump and related matters, as per a testimony put forward at an inquest in Cheshire, England. Lucy's lover told the court how the dispute became very emotionally charged all of a sudden, and that tension remained at an all-time high after that.
Later, during the afternoon hours, her dad took her into the bedroom, and a single gunshot was fired. She passed away from a fatal chest wound. The dad later shared how the handgun discharged by mistake while he was trying to show it to her.
Cops in Texas investigated the matter as a possible case of manslaughter, but a grand jury failed to indict Kris Harrison.
