US President Donald Trump is again raising eyebrows over some recently expressed comments that he made about former US President Bill Clinton.
He shared how it bothers him so much to see the former leader facing intense political pressure and public scrutiny, and demands to testify about his links to the late offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Trump made the shocking remarks during his interview with NBC News recently, where he claimed that it was a shame that Bill and Hillary were getting pushed by Congressional Republicans to sit for depositions about their past links with Epstein. Shocking, he says that he likes Bill Clinton and that they do get along just fine, noting how Clinton once advised Republicans not to run against him in the 2016 primaries because of political power.
The matter is surprising for some as Trump and Clinton were long political rivals, yet his comments appeared to show a lot of sympathy for him amid the heightened scrutiny.
