Tragic reports have confirmed the death of Home Alone and Schitt's Creek actress Catherine O'Hara, who passed away today at the age of 71.
The tragic news was confirmed by the star's manager. The Canadian celeb was famous for being a comedy icon, and some of her most renowned projects included Beetlejuice, Home Alone, and Best in Show. No other details have been revealed so far regarding the cause of death.
O'Hara was born in Toronto in 1954 and was the second youngest of seven kids. Her father worked for the country's Pacific Railway, and her mother was a real estate agent. Her first acting job included portraying the role ofthe Virgin Mary in a Nativity play.
