President Trump just shared a stark warning to Iran, telling the country's capital, Tehran, that it must return to nuclear negotiations or face a US military attack far worse than those seen in the recent past.
The president made it clear that the country needed to agree to a deal on nuclear weapons, but in case it chose to turn away, the consequences would be deadly.
Trump further raised eyebrows by stating that a large US naval force known as the massive armada was heading towards the region for this reason to generate a pressure campaign against the country.
"Time is running out for Iran to negotiate a peaceful resolution," Trump framed in his message as a final warning to come to the table and abandon any kind of pursuit of nuclear weapons.
Iran's government did generate a swift response on this matter, rejecting the threats and warning that any kind of attack by America would give rise to powerful retaliation.
